It’s fun and easy to start our day on a positive note by changing the way we greet people. Instead of using the perfunctory "Hello, how are you?" Start saying "Hello, what’s better with you?" This simple technique automatically changes a negative pattern of conversation into a positive one. I always enjoy a positive rapport by answering my telephone this way.

This technique simply gives us control over ourselves and the way we feel about things. It’s also a positive antidote for a chronic dis-ease called M&I or Manipulation and Intimidation. M&I causes us to hold onto just about everything we don’t like about our lives or ourselves.

My first book, PUCK EM ALL, WE’VE GOT THE MAGIC deals entirely with recognizing M&I and overcoming or circumventing negativity with a perspective of humor. As we do this we recognize and focus our attention on everything that’s better in our life. The negative situations simply evanesce as if it were a fog being burned away by the sun. --allowing us to accept the success, health, and happiness the universe holds for each of us.
